By supporting high quality, independent medical education, we aim to contribute to the healthcare community to improve the overall safety and quality of patient care and treatment. Our charitable donations expand our contribution by enhancing health literacy and strengthening patient support communities.

Communicating this educational and charitable support to the public is one of the many ways that we maintain our commitment to transparency.

To provide responsible oversight, the Astellas Grant Offices utilize a review committee consisting of personnel from Astellas’ legal, ethics and compliance, medical affairs, and corporate social responsibility departments.

Additionally, a separate non-profit organization, Astellas Global Health Foundation (AGHF), awards grants for philanthropic programs.
